Each Dhoni Stella counts 1 captain, 1 chef and 2 crews. Our crew members have been all selected among the best elements of the local tourism industry: a combination of professionals that grants the highest standards of service and safety at sea. Both the captains, Hameedh and Ali, are among the most experts of the archipelago. They know all the best spots for diving, fishing and surfing of the Maldives. Our chefs, Areef, Ali and Kumara, had a long-term experience in the Maldivian and Srilankan hotels. The other four members of our crew are a cocktail of courtesy and experience. Nyaz and Nasru are careful stewards, Shaneef is a great fishermen and Ajuadh an expert snorkeling & dive guide. Our crew speaks English and Italian. Our team's leader, Max, coordinates their work and he is often on board with them. Max first discovers the Maldivian archipelago at the age of 21 while on holiday with his father. In 1992 he starts working on the island of Boduhithi as a diving instructor and in 1994 he boards the motor yacht Fathuhul Bari, taking charge for two years. With the Fathuhul Bari he begins to discover the archipelago, above and below the surface of the sea. 1998 is the start of his career as a tourist resorts manager, which is to continue until the end of 2004. In January 2005 he moves to Malé, where he starts building Stella 1. Today, on board the Dhoni Stellas, Max and our crew convey their extraordinary passion for the Maldives to all our guests. Max is also the author of the first "Maldives Cruising Guide".
